Peach, orange blossom, citrus, and lemon. Lightly sweet and a touch of green apple tart. — 3 years ago
Bright dry cherry, minerality, earth and strawberry. Really nice, going to let it open up some more. — 5 years ago
I like it. Light. — 6 years ago
This 100% Viognier is a star bright green gold. Old bananas and fresh white flowers on the abundant nose. Full bodied complex palate yields all sorts of stuff: banana, magnolia petal, underripe and overripe tropical fruits, white pepper, white peach, and on and on. Finish is medium long and doesn’t fade into that darkness typical of many white Rhône varieties. Medium minus acidity, of course. This is classic Viognier. Very varietally typical in every way. Enjoy on its own or with rich “white wine” dishes , especially cream sauces or roasts poultry. Drink now through 2022. — 6 years ago

First - I love the artwork
On opening - lovely aroma of dark fruit tobacco undergrowth.
When lasted 3.5 years ago it took a day to open. Now the huge tannins blew off in about 2 hours. - then hit the sweet spot - lovely aroma including earthiness - cherry and other dark fruit on the palate with mouthwatering acidity. Nice balance of mossy earthiness, mineral, truffle and other elegant mature flavors that are meant to be savored. The tannins are still present but build to a long finish and now enhance regather than distract from the experience. — 2 years ago

Full palate explosion on opening - well balanced with long dry finish. After 2 hours medium bodied with balanced but intense tannins and smoky leathery dark berries. Perfect for a dark wood room with a fireplace burning while sitting in a plush leather chair. — 6 years ago

This young Single Vineyard Barolo is starting to drink nicely now, but needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Elegant and robust at the same time.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

This is an easy drinking and engaging sparkling wine from Piedmont.
A good quality sparkling wine that drinks very nicely by itself. Will pair nicely with seafood as well.

Dark ruby with light ruby highlights. Inviting nose and medium full palate of red berries, juicy blueberry, and ripe blackberry. Bright acidity and medium tannins mark this as a classic Piemonte red for hearty Mediterranean fare. I'm having short rib and butternut squash risotto which fits perfectly. Drink now through 2028. — 4 years ago
My fondness for Silla Sebaste grows with each glass. This is my first Bussia from this producer and it’s approachable on opening and opens up even more over several hours. Pronounced floral and cherry nose. Mouth watering cherry and other dark fruits, spices, and add a little smoke and leather from front to mid palate. The moderate lingering tannins start to take over late palate and dry the mouth through the finish. Wonderful experience with a lot going on. — 5 years ago
Pale lemon-hued. Aromas and flavors of almond, blossom, honey, lime, and pineapple. Medium body and medium-plus acidity. Lovely floral notes on the nose; while balanced and textured on the mouthfeel and a lingering finish of citrus. — 6 years ago
A bit of an argument between table mates as to whether this was corked. One adamant yes, the other no. Not obvious to me, but a hint of something on the nose to lead in that direction. Flavors were not muted and palate/profile seemed right otherwise and I enjoyed this overall. — 9 years ago

Almost forgot to capture this label. Very good with antipasti meats and rack of lamb Herbs de Provence. — 5 months ago
