Decanted. Didn't touch until 3hrs open. A soft touch of reduction still, some very soft Cameron mushroom/funk, then loads of rainier cherry, wild strawberry, soft plum, baking spice, loads of complexity and nothing is overdone. On the palate, lovely acidity, black cherry, baking spice, soft white pepper, crystalline black raspberry, good salinity, very soft tannin on the dark finish. This is darker than the Clos Electrique, which makes me appreciate it slightly less, but this is a stunning btl of PN. — 12 days ago

ruby color. Initial taste of berries strawberry plums. Luscious taste but not overpowering. A good milder summer red wine on the deck. — a month ago
This dark wine has a wonderful Rhônish nose - blue and black berries, vanilla highlights, a bit of meat - while the palate is deep and rich with great structure and balance. Savory features get rough with the fruit after it has been open awhile - a little Rhône treat for those who are patient. The finish is long and serves as a reminder of a great sip. It’s kinda hard to believe that it sells for less than 15 bucks.

Lemon mineral bouquet. Light straw color. Creamy smooth thick upfront citrus and a hint of minerals. Fades then a burst of a mild oaky finish. ( I know a burst and mild don’t usually go together but there is a taste change. ) bolder and crisper than most Chardonnay — 10 days ago
This wine is luscious from the first pour. Bright red cherries and vanilla notes on the nose show a wonderful balance that is found when good Zinfandel grapes are carefully vinified. The mouth is full and rich, hefty and zippy at the same time with a beautifully fresh acidity. I’ve tasted Zins this good before, but they cost twice as much.
