NV13 (LB buy $18)
Tasted May 2026 with varsha. Very soft and smooth initially with a gentle wave of fruit at the end. 3/4 — 2 months ago
Strong body, fruity in a good way, dry spice and earthy. From Christmas party at the mill. — 7 months ago
Drinking really nicely. Could age longer but is great now. Noticeably deeper and more developed and smoother than the NV14 back to back. — 5 years ago
This was sold as a pop and drink wine but that was not my case. First impression was off. Weak nose and slightly fruit forward dark cherries was my main thought. So punt away and drink another day. Well the wait was all this needed. The nose opened up and the cherries mellowed and other dark berries came out of hiding. Little bit of spice and maybe herbs finish this wine. Time makes the difference in this wine. Decent and enjoy. — 7 years ago
The NV13 is blend of mostly Merlot (51%) and Cab (28%) from 2 great Napa vintages: 2012 (60%) and 2013 (40%).
Aromas of black cherry, plum, cedar, fig, dried herbs, and hint of graphite. Medium-full body, the palate shows both power and structure. Long savory finish with a lingering note of dark chocolate.
Skillfully done. At its prime. — 2 months ago
Very enjoyable. Stood the test of time. These were great when we got them and are nice now. Didn’t seem overly aged at all. Earthy and balanced. Lighter than a cab but still solid. — 7 months ago
The 2016 “Cuvèe Aux Petites Noix” pours a very pretty ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: raspberries, strawberries, cherry, and some warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely wine showing well in its early drinking window. To my palate, better after 2031 and through 2041. — a year ago
Muted fruit and peppery mid pallet with late plumb finish — 4 years ago
Still drinking nicely. Lighter cab notes. — 5 years ago
Last bottle of a case I bought many years ago. One of my favorite blends of Cabernet Sauvignon 69%, Merlot 22%, Cabernet Franc 9%. Open and drink immediately. — 7 years ago

2015 vintage. Sampled from Coravin. Medium body. The monstrous tannins tamed somewhat...as they meet a decade+. Absolutely, top-notch nose. If you both respect the exuberance of youth and celebrate the wisdom of age, this is for you. A fascinating, case study currently. 6.24.26. — 20 days ago
