Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2015

Not a typical Pinot noir- restrained and elegant with dark cherries, pepper, cloves and anise. The finish has a touch of coffee and low acidity. — a month ago

Estate Vineyard Sonoma Coast Gewürztraminer

$15 for the 2020 vintage. Hard to find a dry Gewurtz similar to this one that hits all the floral characteristics of the varietal. great bargain, if you’d like this style. — 4 months ago

Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

We ordered multiple bottles of this tonight for a group of construction stiffs who usually drink Busch Light. They acted and drank like this was the greatest wine that is on earth. I was perfect with Filets & Jumbo Scallops. I recommend eating at Ziggie & Mad Dog’s in the Keys — 3 months ago

Petaluma Gap Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2021

Ming L
9.0

Lovely pop and pour PN. Nose shows red cherry, raspberry, warm spices and forest floor. Medium body. Juicy palate that’s delicate and ample. Lightly candied finish.
This somewhat under-the-radar winery is the 2nd oldest in California and is still run by the family. Wines are very well priced for the quality.

Sonoma Valley Merlot 2018

Smooth and flavorful and delightful. We paired it with a comfort food meal of meatloaf and mashed potatoes and it was wonderful: round and a little lively, and with a depth and character that fit perfectly. — 4 months ago

Mountain Cuvée Rhinefarm Vineyard Red Blend 2001

This is mountain cuvée Rhinefarm vineyard Sonoma Valley. 69% Merlot, 27% Cabernet, 4% Franc. Long ago in a far away land I was a club member at GunBun. I really enjoyed the wines made there by Linda Trotta. This is my last bottle. Back in the day when they were allowed to call it Mountain Cuvée. 2001 was a cool tannic year and this represents the vintage, but it’s one of the reasons that’s it’s holding up this long. You’d never guess 2001. Dark red color, fruit and tannins with a smooth finish. This is old school in a very good way. — 8 months ago
