The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley Unpeated Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A really fantastic summer scotch with notes flowers, grass, yeast, and freshly picked grains. It really jumps out of the glass with a freshness and vibrancy you’d expect more from a champagne or beer. Not super deep or rich, but that’s what makes it refreshing. Good deal too. — 6 months ago

Black Art 5: Unpeated Islay Single Malt Scotch 1992

Fantastic single malt that we brought back from Scotland. More Speyside in character than Islay for sure, this has some amazing aromas of hazelnut with a great, lingering finish. Awesome! — 6 years ago

Port Charlotte Islay Barley Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt

Excellent with peat, iodine and a ton of hard candy. I drank most of it neat and added some water to the last bit. Sorry I did that as it just dumbed down everything. — 9 months ago

Octomore Edition 07.2 Aged 5 Years Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Peat and salinity are definitely at the forefront. But I love both and there is enough malt to provide some balance to my taste. — 3 years ago

Octomore 169 PPM Edition 07.3 Aged 5 Years Islay Barley

The most peaty whisky ever. 169 PPM. Also cask strength: 63%
So handle with care. But in the end: ginger, mokka coffee, milkchocolate.

The whole house smells of peat.
But once you get past that, there are very nice and delicate flavours to be enjoyed....
