The Gewurtztraminer was like nothing I've ever had...Turkish delight and the duff of pine forests. Thank you LAC and Meritage brasserie -good grief! — 12 years ago

Ok IPA by St feuillien. I guess dry hopped, with the typical yeast taste that has a little dirty, rotten edge to it. — 7 years ago
2016/3/8 at Wine Sellar & Brasserie, San Diego. My first time trying this producer. Seems more new world style, fruit generous, lower on acidity (perhaps due to vintage). It does have a good integrated sense of terrior though. Very easy drinking, very enjoyable. — 10 years ago

Dare I say the finest of the Belgian "quads"? Better than St Bernardus 12, Pannepot, and even Westvleteren 12? Drier than all of the above (though sweeter than I had recalled, but less candied). A broad mouthfeel, dark and raisiny, with its 11.3% ABV coming across only as a light spice on the finish. A classic after-dinner beer. Imported by Merchant du Vin, of Tukwila, WA. — 13 years ago
Enjoyed with parents and good friend at Brasserie by Niche. Parents were not overly impressed but I thought it was not wanting for anything. Very elegant. Opened ahead of time and decanted for about 45 min. Much more open than a few years ago and no need to hold longer. — 9 years ago
