Elegant, light on its foot, dry crisp style but still sweet with exotic fruits in the nose. Very delicious now, hopefully will develop a little bit more complexity over time. — 8 years ago

2016/3/21 Ripe but not heavy at all. Great acidity, a little heavier in body but well balanced, well made, the vineyard stoniness shined through and true. Finish is not long but not ethereal due to vintage — 9 years ago

2016/3/11 Floral, and fruits are suppressed, true craftsmanship of wine maker handling the terrior and the climate with this grape. Light, but super elegant, citrus peels, rocky minerals, smell of very very dry flowers — 9 years ago

4/13/2017 Heard Serafin made great wines for the 2007 vintage, and was lucky to find some. This is indeed impressively concentrated for the vintage. Very ripe , but balanced blue fruits, some funk (from Brett?), well integrated terrior of earth and animale, almost covered by the fruits. Softened tannins. Starting to peak now but can easily hold for 5 more years — 8 years ago

2016/3/19 Brunch at Bar Tartine with Andy & Chris (with kids). Tightly wounded, acid freak playing, super fine bubbles. Need 1+ hours to open. Could benefit 3+ years of cellaring. — 9 years ago

2016/3/10 Tightly bound, fresh, tart, hints of strawberries when cold. Long finish. Takes a day to unfold its sweet strawberry fruits. — 9 years ago

4/14/2017 Classic chassagne nose, prominent minerals well integrated, little bit buttery (vs Pierre Yves) but shines at this age in the nose. Brilliant acidity that will help it stay at the peak for few more years. (If there is any nit, it is a little too tart for me at this stage) — 8 years ago

2016/3/12 Delicious, open, fruity, dried flowers, rose petals, silky tannins. Generous fruits like new world, but sleeker, darker, more somber, maybe more blue fruits acidity, wine in balance with terrior. Yummy! — 9 years ago

2016/3/9 This is at a very good place now. Can be enjoyed out of bottle. Dried white flowers, flinty minerals, super yummy when cold. Although after a few hours, it was shutting down again. — 9 years ago
