Amazing. Gripping acid that is leaving me wanting more, apple, very little brioche element to it. More on the fruity side — 5 days ago
Surprisingly good SB apparently with a bit of Chardonnay for its age. Thought might be over the hill but it’s lively and acidic with mineral notes with hints of spice and stood up to and played well with dark sourced pork! — 12 days ago
Pale straw lemon color with frothy mousse and lively bead of bubbles, produced only in exceptional vintages, grapes from grand cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. A complex nose of fresh fruit with yeast, nutty notes and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, berry and citrus flavors, floral with biscuit tones. Great balance with acidity, delicate textures, long finish ending creamy with toasty smoky oak and chalky mineral character. Very Nice! Tasting Sample! — 24 days ago
(Disg. 12/14) One of the best bottles of Selosse in recent memory, the coveted 2008 base Initial is an absolute stunner, still incredibly fresh and vibrant with off the charts complexity and captivating Selossien aromatics, a rich, powerful and textural palate with layered minerality and a finish that just doesn’t end. Amazing wine. — 20 days ago
