Dry tabacco dark fruit on the nose but after a while velvety chocolate nose. Let it breathy and it gets better — 2 years ago
Does anyone know what day it is? French Creek has the oldest plantings in WA, about 40yrs. Several wineries in Walla Walla source their fruit from here and all the ones Ive tried have been excellent; this Chardonnay from Valdemar is no different- Richly textured, lemons, custard, good acid. We had a 2021 in Jan 2026. This could lay down another ten years easily. Full body, young tannins but lovely. — 5 months ago

Till midsommargrillningen. Smooth and well balanced. Nice by itself and with mest fr.o.m. the barbecue. — 3 years ago
Complex, saline, light/medium acid, lemon merengue, tangy, with a round apricot finish. Shared with colleagues at the wine shop. Great for wine tasting. — 4 years ago
2019 vintage. Pinkish pale orange color, hints of roses and fresh cherries, beautiful acidity. Fun and anjoyable — 5 years ago
I was shocked at how much I liked this wine despite the young vintage. This is the first vintage of WA Syrah from Valdemar. Did not try the other two Syrahs but I cannot imagine liking the other two more than this one. The fruit was upfront, nice amount of spice, this will lay down quite nicely. Impressed. — 7 years ago
