Red Mountain, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USARed Mountain, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USAI was shocked at how much I liked this wine despite the young vintage. This is the first vintage of WA Syrah from Valdemar. Did not try the other two Syrahs but I cannot imagine liking the other two more than this one. The fruit was upfront, nice amount of spice, this will lay down quite nicely. Impressed.
