Poured through an aerator and sat for 15 minutes…
NOSE: strong, clear cassis. Meat. Pine, forest. Very mild chocolate and a little ash - and some raisin - but the cassis dominates.
Taste: medium weight, elegant, fruity bordeaux, with enough tannin to balance it perfectly - as on the nose, cassis and dark berry flavors dominate, but with a good herbal backbone. Simpler than I’d hoped, but just so very well made it doesn’t matter. Would love to taste this in a few years. 92. — 4 years ago
After a very busy weekend, we sat around the table eating leftovers. Hard to see a Kosta Browne being a complement to “leftovers” but it was wonderful. Light red:purple color with strawberry and blueberry on the nose and some slight earth tones coming through the palate. This feels and tastes like a Russian River Valley Pinot but softer. Definitely worth having again. . . And again. — 5 years ago
Could definitely be sat down for a few years — 6 years ago
It was good after it sat about 4 hours decanted. Probably should age a few more years. — 7 years ago

It's Open That Bottle Night(last Sat in Feb), and thought this would be a nice pull to celebrate the occasion.
1 hour decant(decent sediment). A striking still dark garnet with some bricking. On the nose: perfumed stewed cherry/plum, smoked meat, worn leather, cigar ash, milk chocolate, rich soil, some band-aid(brett) Taste: smooth, polished, vibrant wine with plum, tobacco, bitter chocolate, worn leather, earth, and a long graphite coffee ground finish. YUM!!!! — a year ago

Hints of oxidation in the coloring, but the nose and taste were fine. As it sat in the glass, it became more complex and enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Sat on this great vintage. Beautiful Can — 5 years ago
This wine started off crazy vanilla and a brick wall of tannins dark fruit and leather. Then as it sat in the glass, it really all came together and was outstanding. — 6 years ago
Had this 2 years ago. Special wine not produced every year, BDX presents a different expression of Oakville, Bordeaux blend of 91% Cab Sauv, 8% Cab Franc & 1% Petit Verdot. The wine sat on French oak (55% new) for 28 months. Aromas of rich berry fruit with sweet oak, spice & cedar notes. On the palate blackberry & sweet cherry flavor with cacao & oak spice, great balance & structure. Smooth tannins, great mouthfeel, balanced acidity on a long finish ending with a slight tangy pepper character. Great value! — 7 years ago
Really good from Prospect, sat on fire escape Friday night in May — 7 years ago
Closed off day 1. Sat on counter with Cory in for two days. Really nice. Now expressive on day 3. This needs time cellar. — 3 years ago
Not a fan of Chardonnay, and this blend makes it work for me — 4 years ago
Tasted twice! Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit and herb pepper spice with floral and earthy notes, sat on French oak for 18 mos (10% new). On the palate cherry and blueberry flavors, citrus, tea, herb spice, oak and earthy notes. Fine tannins, vivid acidity, good balance, well structured on long finish ending with earthy mineral tones. A powerhouse that will continue to cellar well. Nice! — 5 years ago
Very enjoyable CdP; loaded with raspberry, plum and other fruit with some earthy and meaty notes. Drinking great with a nice long finish. Decanted about 2 hours before we sat down to a Beef Burg dinner. — 5 years ago
This is excellent, but on day one was much more brooding and heavy. After two days of air it was much more pretty. Cassis, a hint of cedar, cherry compote, fresh herbs, the finish is long and lovely. I just sat enjoying each sip. — 6 years ago

On the palate flavors of crisp apple and peach with citrus zest and nutty oak notes, well balanced with acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and mineral character. Pair with a lane or red snapper with a tomato garlic compote topping. — 10 months ago
