Purchased wine during visit to the winery in October 2017. Single vineyard Pinot from Dundee Hills grown in red-clay Jory soil. Muted nose. Pomegranate and red plum fruit, with volcanic soil, pepper and floral notes. — 7 months ago
Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe cherry and blueberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Will age well. — 19 days ago
Great wine. Tried as a sample at H‑E‑B and loved it. Not too sweet. Has a Smokey semisweet flavor. Also reasonable price - around $12.00 — 5 months ago
Good structure, drinkable from just opening. Smooth one. Black currant and fruits. Balanced body. Later on slightly feel coffee like bitterness. 2021 @145, SD, 240325 — 24 days ago

Great ca zin. Blackberries galore, red apples, some earth and forest. Great acidity but still a rich zin. This is such an underrated winery. — 16 days ago
