A stand out from this winery. I think the location added some terroir not found in their other Chenin or their reds. Felt like drinking a summer evening. — 8 days ago

I like this and it’s a great example of left bank. 2012 too, so a good example from a tough vintage. Has been open for two days.
It’s very typical of the region so it’s song is complex and stately, with a quiet grace. Oaky tannins leap forth, very dusty and earthy. Some pipe tobacco notes. Generous blackberry flavors and a hint of mint on the backend. Good structure and in prime drinking state right now. — 5 months ago
Crisp, light minerality, mild citrus. Very understated but refreshing! — 5 months ago
Plum, raspberries, and currants on the front, creamy mouthfeel and a nice medium tannic dryness in the clean finish. — 15 days ago
Very oaky nose along with pretty black cherry, licorice, spice and menthol. Aromatic big man that wood. Palate is dense and sweet with nice balance and texture. Good 2012 volume and amplitude. Compact. Nice mineral finish. Give it 3-5 years for oak to integrate on nose. It has on palate which is nice now. — 2 months ago
