I purchased the 2015 and 2016 on release for about $20. To me it’s one of the best entry level Napa cab money can buy. And in great vintage like 2016, it punches way above its weight.
It opens with a vibrant bouquet of ripe blackberry, cassis, and a hint of fresh mint. On the palate, the sun-drenched, dark fruit flavors are beautifully reined in by a core of fresh acidity. Supple tannins and notes of vanilla and cocoa round out the finish.
Will have another 8-10 years drinking window. — 3 months ago

Trying it again with more attention. Last tasting was at a party and it was the last wine. Old, old wine. Pretty rusty and old looking. Smells like old books and cooked berry products. Flavors are more interesting. Some complex berry notes. Dusty cherry. Strange mossy or forestal thing in the finish. This is pretty interesting stuff. Probably an amazing vineyard that is making $500 bottles now… — a month ago

Nose of red fruit, body fully embraces the palate with soft tannins, great mouthfeel and full body of red fruit with long finish. Wish I’d bought a lot more. — 2 months ago

Very pretty. Faded with a touch of balsamic. Poised and pretty. Very light but complete. Pristine for a 50 year old cab — 9 days ago
