First 2018 Bandol Rosé..this wine has that orange color..great salinity..flavors of cantaloupe, honeydew, peach, strawberries, watermelon and minerals. Nice long finish..very nice first time trying this Rosé!

Caramel, darkest brown rye bread, baked golden apple, ripe green apple and poached Bosc, lemon and orange peel, glistening hemp oils. Lemongrass, spruce, sage and basil, peach blossom, clover and candied violet waft olfactorial. Ethereally nuanced. Snappy ginger and intense lemon oil, peppercorn, ginseng, candied grapefruit ride a fiery wave across the palate. Lanolin and beeswax entertain candied ginger and cinnamon oil. Katun, Batch No. 54. Distilled with molasses, barrel aged. Made in small lots at a micro distillery. Coco nutty, grassy and buttery nose. Strong, clean, no fake flavors. Spice in mouth, dry, but no added natural or artificial anything. I drink it neat in a snifter or added to my daily coffee. Yes, I’d rather be drinking wine or hard cider, but if I’m going to do craft distilled beverages, this is a quality choice. — 7 years ago
