Ended up getting to take this leftover bottle home after the Craft Spirits Carnival last weekend and couldn't figure out why I kept on getting the impression of earthiness. Duh, read the label and saw it was a 2005! Nice stuff!

Wow! Who said California don't age as gracefully as old world wines. This 2005 is outstanding, lushicious;)
Blueberry and cherry pie, cigar box, fleshy mid palette and great acidity, nothing out place! Nearly perfect
