Leather tar, cherry, campfire, and nice integrated tannins. Not as nuanced and elegant as Barberesco, but would not argue against it otherwise. — 8 years ago
Phew. Took a few hours but when it opened it opened all the way. Everything I want in a barberesco. Now I'm committed to stashing some in the cellar. — 3 years ago
O’Neill says 9.0 is high and it’s serviceable. Nice old barberesco — 6 years ago

Freshly crushed cherry, tar, leather, cigar box, cranberry, balsamic, smoke, and medium tannins. Amazing Barberesco for the price. — 8 years ago
Great Barbera, reminds me of a good Barberesco. — 3 years ago

Not sure where I got this one but 13 yr old barberesco drinking within its window. Delicious. Perfectly balanced acid/tannin/fruit with more dark fruit than red. Tart plum with rose tar. Very nice. Mid palate a bit bitter but love the front and back end. Goes on and on. — 2 years ago
