Felton Road

Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2019

Rich and mouth filling in the luscious Felton Road style. Only 20% whole bunch letting the quality of the ripe fruit speak. Intense red and black fruits - raspberry to the fore. This is just a “village “ wine in comparison to their illustrious Block 3 and Block 5 but it more than holds its own. Impossible not to enjoy this wine. — 17 days ago

@Somm David T It’s certainly up there isn’t it David. I used to enjoy Mount Difficulty as well but don’t see it as much these days.

Yep. I enjoy the hell out of their Chardonnay but it is much more difficult to find than their Pinot in the US.

Geelong Pinot Noir 2021

Very savoury nose. Palate is sweet with intense dark fruit and spices but without enough acid to balance the opulent fruit character. Mouth coating and long, but a but heavy handed. — 2 years ago

Do not drink much PN from NZ. . Have to say this 14 year-old drinks quite nicely. Still good harmony between our boys and girls - tannins and fruits. — a month ago

Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2016

Intense Pinot from Central Otago. Heavy ‘burned earth’ notes characterizing the wine. We carried this bottle back with us in 2018 visiting the region. Great pairing with pita chips and blue cheese. — 4 months ago
