Full body and hits you with fruit. — 6 years ago
Wine had a little bit of fire on the nose but nice complex flavors especially with the rich ossobucco and cinghiale we had to eat. Probably needs a few more years in the bottle to settle down. — 7 years ago
Well structured, nicely balanced with an abundance of succulent red and black fruits, light mouth coating tannins at the tasty finish. A bit heftier than a Tuscan Chianti but it went well with a Kielbasa sausage and lentil soup. — 3 months ago

This wine is dark ruby in the glass. The nose shows black cherry, plum, and some spice. On the palate, fruit is forward with an earthy minerality following. The tannins are smooth, and the finish is long, with dark berries being the predominant flavor. I used this one for a pasta sauce, but it would pair quite well with any beef or pork dish. — 8 days ago
