Nicely restrained nose, signature trout gulch. Lots of gentle dark fruit (i heard black raspberry and I agree), a touch of earth, subtle florals and slight tannic grip โ 3 years ago
Showing some age with baked apple notes. A little tar on the nose. Its pronounced acidity keeps it fresh. From Trout Gulch. โ 7 years ago
VVVVVVVAAAAAALLLLLLLUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE it's hard to drink this stuff because it's actually too good. It's like it's so cheap it's a goddamn shame because I will not hold on to any of these. I WILL BE DRINKING THEM AND BARELY BELIEVING I PAID LESS THAN $20 a bottle ๐ฎ โ 9 years ago

Itโs all about the fruit here. A surprisingly light body, pale edges with deep ruby color, a nose of beautiful rose and candied hibiscus, with delicate, silky tannins, tart cherry with beautiful acidity and a delicate finish of raspberry and dry minerality that lingers long into the night. โ 4 years ago

Cherry, with a slightly dank, earthy, mushroom side. Acidity is right where I like it. Drinking so well! Recommended by my favorite somm ;) โ 7 years ago

I loved this. A Trout Gulch on steroids but in the best way. The weight , intensity and finish were all ratcheted up. 8 years in and the acidity was still bracing. The palate had so many Chablis like flavors. โ a month ago
