Ahh it’s lovely. Light, pear & golden color leads to a nose that truly benefits from a breathe. We decanted it and glad we did. For such a young wine it’s really rather remarkable how mature the Trout Gulch Chardonnay expresses itself. I loved this. A Trout Gulch on steroids but in the best way. The weight , intensity and finish were all ratcheted up. 8 years in and the acidity was still bracing. The palate had so many Chablis like flavors. — 3 months ago

It’s all about the fruit here. A surprisingly light body, pale edges with deep ruby color, a nose of beautiful rose and candied hibiscus, with delicate, silky tannins, tart cherry with beautiful acidity and a delicate finish of raspberry and dry minerality that lingers long into the night. — 4 years ago
