Nicely restrained nose, signature trout gulch. Lots of gentle dark fruit (i heard black raspberry and I agree), a touch of earth, subtle florals and slight tannic grip — 3 years ago
Showing some age with baked apple notes. A little tar on the nose. Its pronounced acidity keeps it fresh. From Trout Gulch. — 7 years ago
Smells like candy, tastes like middle of a pie with nice tannins. — 8 years ago

It’s all about the fruit here. A surprisingly light body, pale edges with deep ruby color, a nose of beautiful rose and candied hibiscus, with delicate, silky tannins, tart cherry with beautiful acidity and a delicate finish of raspberry and dry minerality that lingers long into the night. — 4 years ago

Cherry, with a slightly dank, earthy, mushroom side. Acidity is right where I like it. Drinking so well! Recommended by my favorite somm ;) — 7 years ago

Ahh it’s lovely. Light, pear & golden color leads to a nose that truly benefits from a breathe. We decanted it and glad we did. For such a young wine it’s really rather remarkable how mature the Trout Gulch Chardonnay expresses itself. The body is round and luscious for its price and the finish has solid staying-power. — 9 days ago
