The wine I have opened was the 2016 Pier Carlo Bergadano Langhe Nebbiolo.
On the nose there is quite distinctive notes of cherry, strawberry, licorice, gaminess, mushroom, herbs, leather and earth.
On the palate is cherry, plum, raspberry, anise, game, clay pot, leather, oak and earth.
This wine is full bodied grippy mouthfeel, medium + acidity with medium + to high fine grainy tannins leading to a long red fruit earthy finish. I hope everyone is healthy and well? Please stay safe and the weekend is just around the corner. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — a year ago

Amazing pairing with tomato based sauces, easy drinking, fairly light, but good flavour. — 6 months ago
Oh my! Where do you begin?
N: Go down to the pier and get yourself a bag of salted, buttered, nuts. Saline butterscotch, with mold(good)around the edges.Oranges and flowers, Almonds.
P: Saline, Iodine, brown butter, viscous on the tongue with a long sharp acidic, citrus finish. Marvelous. There’s tobacco and wood when you hold it in your mouth and take in air.
Double fortified to 17°, winter, heavy flor.
