St Giorgio Toscana Six Months Oak Aged 2018

For the price, this is a pretty good everyday drink. Cherry and stewed fruits aromas. Smooth with red fruits and a nice long finish. — 5 days ago

Monte Dall'Ora

San Giorgio Alto Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend 2015

The nicest Classico Superiore we’ve had. And with a slight chill along burgers, yum. Has a great nose of muddy black cherries, trees, leafy decay, as it warms, it’s pronounced deep red.
On the palate, bright acidity up front with a tactile slight roughness, pomegranates and cherries, delicious balance.
These bottles don’t disappoint.

St Giorgio Chianti Riserva Sangiovese 2019

Medium ruby in color; cherries, dried herbs, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like tart cherries, raspberry sauce, and clay pots with a long finish. Nellie and Bri don't like it, but I love it! — 4 months ago

It seems that sometimes the Italians - and Alto Piedmontese (a name we in the US bestowed on a them) let their hyper local regional alliances and squabbles - undermine their global marketability. Some in the older generation and most of new generation seem to get this, but the consortia continue to resist… — 9 months ago
