2014 Grenache Blanc. Tasty. Fresh. Great acidity. Mangos all day long. Happy Friday. — 11 years ago
[from 750] drinking very well right now (2018). Indescribable? Taste from some other axis of space-time-sense? Custard, melon, pineapple, diesel, bandaid, orange spice. . . — 8 years ago
Pretty deep ruby /garnet core , lightening though not a lot at the edges , very big thick slow legs. Certainly secondary aromas now, ceder , licorice , blackcurrant with a meaty undertone , quite interesting and complex . In the mouth more of the blackcurrant fruit, minty notes also , then the tannins kick in. They are ripe but omnipresent , almost a cocoa powder finish with the drying tannins. The mid palate is slightly hollow and lacks a bit of charm. This is a big wine though the acidity is balancing I'm not sure those tannins will ever be resolved. It doesn't come as 'new world' you would think it could be a left bank Bordeaux , a St Estephe perhaps, though the sweeter tannins and slightly alcoholic kick give away another origin. Coming back to this , I think there will probably be limited upside , the wine appear too hollow to really improve. So drink now and over the next 3 years . — 9 years ago
Completamente vale la pena. Hits the sweet spot of quality on the y axis and price on the x axis. Seems like anything blended with a garnacha floats the boat ⛵️ . Idk how I haven't seen this at TJ's yet — 9 years ago

I thought this was a really tasty Belgian. Nothing too dramatic on any axis, but made for a delicious drink over burgers. Would buy again anytime. — 11 years ago

Aromas & Flavors
Explosive tropical aromatics, mango, papaya, ripe pineapple, and golden peach — leap from the glass with remarkable intensity. Beneath the exuberant fruit lies a subtle mineral undertone that keeps everything focused and grounded.
Mouthfeel
Textured, vibrant, and rhythmically expressive. The palate mirrors the nose with precision, delivering layered tropical richness balanced by freshness. The finish lingers confidently, long and resonant without heaviness.
Food Pairings
Grilled prawns, Caribbean-spiced fish, roasted chicken with citrus glaze, burrata with stone fruit, or saffron seafood risotto.
Verdict
A show-stopping indigenous white that commands attention. Profound aromatics, dimensional palate, and unforgettable persistence. This is not just impressive, this is emotional wine.
🍷 Personal Pick
Yes. This is a 2-bottle strategy candidate. One to relive the shock. One to cellar and remember exactly where you were when Lazio changed your axis. — 4 months ago
