Baklava (G) and crisp Fruity Pebbles (J) nose. Dynamic tasting, changes as the bottle opened up. Notes of tomato leaf, bright Rainer red cherries, pistachio, orange marmalade, suede, nostalgia. Color of Ruby/red tie dye, with strong legs. Drank at Costera in Nola on the eve of Joe’s 36th birthday. — 3 years ago

I haven’t rated a wine in a long time. This one merited a rating. It’s like finding a value play in a sea of growth stocks or a girl who you’re attracted to who’s also an astro physicist and fights crime at night. It’s dry and flavourful. — 4 years ago
Dry with dark red fruit aromas. Paired very well with a charcuterie board with salami, blue cheese, aged cheddar, parmesan, manchego, and comte, along with grapes, mustard, honey, and fig crackers. — 3 years ago
Silky, pretty. $10 C — 4 years ago
Astro Lab Brewer, Silver Spring MD. Hazy IPA with Mosaic, Columbus and Citra hops. 7.1%
Medium gold, big, slightly rocky head that is quite persistent. Knock-out nose which to me reads as pine resin/juniper berry. Very well balanced with a just-so textural play between hop bitterness and malty sweetness. — 5 years ago
Funky skin contact. Orange creamsicle honey and sweet blossom. “My Pet-nat brings all the boys to the yard”. Brought us love at Roses. — 6 years ago
