Finally it feels like a real summer weekend in the Northeast. Time to break out the SBs. This one is new to me (though I've enjoyed their delicious Syrah from their Pritchard Hill estate). Loads of citrus, honeysuckle and a touch of bitterness (pith?) on the finish. There's a nice viscosity to the wine - it's not exactly creamy, but not overly crisp either - somewhere in between I guess. Strong acid you can really feel on the jaw and that leaves your mouth watering. — 7 years ago
Aromatic nose of currents and blackberries but fall flat quickly...short finish but grows longer in a short time. — 5 years ago
Aromas of raspberries and pepper and flavors that then include blackberries, pepper and chocolate with fairly strong tannins that ties all the flavors together in the finish — 8 years ago
Graphite, jet black fruit and charcoal on the nose. Palate is more generous with the fruit, followed by black tea on the finish, but the tannins don't bring it all together as harmoniously as an elite wine. Still very tasty though. — 9 years ago

If pinot noir is feminine, this one is a stunning beauty.
Gorgeous almost luminescent magenta in the glass with a nose that is equal parts floral and candied red fruit and leather funk. This drinks like a silky pomegranate aril with a touch of cola nut and vanilla thrown in.
Carneros fruit is astounding when done right, y'all. — 8 years ago
This is a wonderful Okanagan Pinot Noir from this boutique garagiste winery. Garnet and 12% abv. Tart cherry, savoury black sage, pomegranate aril, saline minerality. Well balanced, well integrated and ready to enjoy on its own or with braised lamb tacos. @Jonsteeves rated 90/100 - tasted May 2016 — 9 years ago
