From Haskell’s box. Our first red Bordeaux, from Cadillac AOC Bordeaux region, which is right bank. Website says 60% Merlot 20% cab 20% Franc. Old vines. Medium yellow with a greenish tint. Nose of white fruit, melon and a sea breeze. Palate adds a floral note. Acid skeleton really sets off the fruit. Long finish. Not at all what I expected given its origin. — 2 years ago

Deep gold in color. Apricot cobbler, ginger, ripe peach, and petrol on the nose. The palate presents apricot liquor, flint, orange liqueur, white pepper, ginger, cinnamon, clove, dried stone fruit, and lemon. Medium bodied, medium alcohol, medium acid, and a long complex finish.
