Silky smooth and still drinking well at 19. — 18 days ago
v09. Really good!! Peppery, black cherry licorice nose. Round, rich, deep black cherry fruit. Smooth, long, slightly dry, soft chalk, white pepper and mocha finish. Nicely balanced, this what first time wine drinkers think wine should taste like! — a month ago
Blend of Corvina (60%), Rondinella (30%) and Molinara (10%). Dark ruby/purple color with a garnet rim. Ripe red and black fruit aromas with notes of herbs and spices. Flavors of ripe cooked black cherries, cocoa powder, roasted herbs, orange zest and a hint of pepper spice. Long and slightly sweet finish. Mild tannins and acidity. Velvety texture and quite bright. Took a flyer buying this from Benchmark. Bottle was in perfect condition, but sadly past its peak. Nose was outstanding - huge - chocolate, spice box. Had lost any acidity to balance the huge fruit. And at 17%, it kicked our ass. Would love to try a slightly younger rendition. — 2 months ago
Turns out super well made Amarone is ideal match for Texas smoked brisket and ribs. Dense, layered and oh, so smooth. No clue where it’s hiding 17% alcohol. In a sweet spot with 30 minute decant. 🙏 @Michael Aronovici — 3 months ago

Dark ruby with aromas of blackberry, stewed red fruits, cedar/oak, and a bit of smoke. On the bud, it’s rich and full bodied with nice acidity. It has a slight tanginess with more red fruits. Of course, great with our pasta! — 13 days ago
