Delicious. Low tannins, sweet, fruity, smooth. Blueberry, blackberry, plum jam. — 5 months ago
Nice Zin aromas and very clean finish but the fruit senses seemed a bit unripe. Still enjoyable. — 6 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchard fruit: passion fruit, lemon, sea spray, white flowers, lanolin and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with a wooly texture and lovely minerals. Drinking now through 2037. — 3 months ago
Time to clear out the fridge. Crazy collection of leftovers. This was the perfect choice to make it a wonderful meal. — 5 months ago
Dark and complex. Varietal blend of Grenache, Syrah, Petit Syrah, Mourverde, and Viogneir. An excellent winemaker’s brilliant recipe. — 9 months ago
Truncated family party notes. This wine was so relaxed and comfortable in its skin. Deep flavors. Soft, luxurious texture. Vines this old are so quietly confident they don’t feel the need to try to impress anyone. I hope I reach this state someday. — 4 months ago

Deep, rich berry nose accented by animal, feral notes. Not necessarily prototypical Zin characteristics. But really nice. On the palate, however, it’s more typical. Earthy, sandstoney blackberry fruit, really nice balance of richness, acids, and tannin. Very long finish. I love the Zins from this vineyard, but I think I heard somewhere this is the last vintage they’re making from here. 😥 — a day ago
