Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 7 months ago
Tons of red and dark fruit. Mainly cherries and a bit of raspberry and spice. — 10 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 “Etichetta Bianca” pours a garnet color with a translucent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fascinating notes of ripe and desiccated fruits: black cherry, pomegranate, red flowers, roasted beef, cedar chest, alpine herbs and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. Ferrando’s Carema (both white and black labels) are never short on personality and always such a joy to share with others. Drink now through 2043. — 2 months ago
Gentle slap across the head to wake you to pay attention. Stove fruits and acids lingering long into finish. Stood up to meat dishes easily. — 8 months ago
Very nice Cabernet with a rich dark color. Black cherry with notes of tobacco and cassis. Nice tannin structure. Great sipping wine! — a year ago
The deep cherry component was so overwhelming you barely noticed the tertiary notes. — 4 months ago
Solid Napa Cab. Good fruit, slightly thinner than I’d hoped for but would buy again. — 9 months ago

Revisiting an old friend. From one of Europe’s highest vineyards. Pure, clean citrus fruit hits you right away like a freshly melted alpine stream in spring. As the bottle warms up, unexpected tropical notes emerge - coconut and pineapple (aka nuances of piña colada). — a month ago
