Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.
Lots of fresh red fruits on the nose with tobacco leaf, herbs, light oak, wild flowers, vegetables, light barnyard, mushrooms, spices and light earth.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with red plums, fresh picked cherries, strawberries, spices, light wood, herbs, green tea, black pepper, earth and light dark chocolates.
Elegant finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity, albeit still very young.
This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is a good quality wine. Easy drinking and made in Burgundian style.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time. The nose becomes more flowery after 45 minutes of airtime.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 8 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Paired very nicely with the triple cream Brie cheese with wild mushrooms.
100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged for 10 months in (35% new) French Oak barrels.
13.4% alcohol by volume.

First wine I’ve ever aged! 2014 Alexana Pinot Noir from the Fennwood Vineyard. Drank at the cabin in WV in celebration of Betsy’s 34th birthday and my first SM promotion. We humbly had this wine with plastic dish ware instead of stemware lol. This bottle stood the test of time - juicy ripe fruits, balanced acidity, with some earth notes. Absolutely wonderful and so thankful! In the company of Betsy, Mollis, and Kelly King. — 2 years ago
Paired well with gnocchi and cream sauce. Restaurant Iron in Pensacola FL — 3 years ago
Jello served separately for the kids. Not a wine pairing!
This review is after pulling this bottle from fridge after being argon gassed with Wine2Pro for 9 days.

Dark golden in color.
Fruity nose with yellow apples, pears, light grapefruits, oak, light vanilla, minerals, light spices and light sea salt.
Medium plus and body and creamy, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, lemons, apples, bitter herbs, oak, spices, vanilla and white pepper.
Nice length on the finish with limes and bitter almonds.
This is a very tasty Chardonnay from Oregon. Spicy and elegant. Fruit forward and engaging.
Nicely balanced with good complexity, and feels like a white Burgundy.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime. Better when not too cold.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 4 years see how it evolves.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.
