Rrrrrrrraowr! Mushroom and potting soil, prime rib and rosemary. Get the fudge outta my way! Can’t! Dark chocolate dominates in graphite-plum and agro-tannin cedar, cinnamon and tobacco force the issue and the black currant is AGGRESSIVELY assertive! Got black pepper in white pepper sauce! Iron rich liver grill without the bitter; shellfish shell, prune and blackberry show sour aspects and oak tannins spread the word. Spanish oak and sensibility prevail. Beast and the best of such.

Medium lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of apples, mango and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending slightly creamy with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. — 3 months ago
Drinking the 2019 in late 2024. Deep rich color. Thin legs that quickly disappear. Light bouquet, lots of fruit notes. Smooth on the palette with light tannins and a slightly sweet finish. Nice wine! — 5 months ago
Really pretty color. Good nose and great leather aroma. Terrific plum with a soft and silky finish. Not tannic…really good. — 2 years ago
James Burge
such a cool producer that i’ve been following closely. located in castilla la mancha, albahra (vyd location) means small sea in arabic. it’s in almansa, which means half way of the road: such a perfect name for a region in la mancha. opened with lots of acidity that mellowed out with time and decanting. would absolutely buy again, but would only drink with dinner, not in its own — 2 days ago
