Light lemon yellow. Citrus peel , red apple , acacia and chalk dust on the nose . On the palate quite strict, intense and mineral with light citrus fruits and a slightly toasty note. Very well balanced and long on the palate . This is the Jan 2018 degorgement . Great now , still pretty young really , and over the next 5-10 years. — 5 months ago

The NV Brut 7 Crus is a very pretty, entry-level wine in this range. Bright, mineral and intensely vibrant, the 7 Crus is all energy. All the elements are so well proportioned. A blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, this captures all the house signatures with tons of energy and better overall balance than in some previous editions. White flowers, chalk and citrus linger. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. Disgorged: June, 2023. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

So well balanced. It’s not insanely complex but checks all the boxes I want from a champagne at this price. Great acidity, tart fruit, some citrus, a bit of marzipan, some toast with butter, lemon curd finish. Lovely! — 3 months ago
