Apple, pear, a bit of honey and a bit of chalk. It's simple yet delicious. The palate is less rich than the Schloss Fels number I had yesterday, but the apple/pear notes and the nice acid drive are making it sing. There is a bit of grip in the rear, with almost a phenolic, tannic layer, and a long fruity finish with a bit of a zing to it. No citrusy notes, less richness, more drive. I like it ! Oh and for less than 10 euro retail price. — 3 days ago

That’s like seeing an old friend —For many years my local store carried this Luxembourg wine, & was always impressed by its build, as you say Reisling on the nose but with a thicker, Chardonnay mouthfeel. Closest analogy is that of an Alsatian Auxerrois ( kinda makes sense...)
