Best Albariño I’ve ever had. Bright with excellent depth and good acidity. — 8 months ago
2021 vintage. The brand name refers to the first 100% Alvarinho vineyard planted by Soalheiro in 1974. Today, it is still made from over 30 years old vines, fermented mainly in stainless steel, with 15% in used oak barrels. White peach and pineapple, intertwined with a distinctive minerality. Crisp and juicy with an exemplary purity of fruit, brilliant acidity and a very long mineral finish. Abv. 12,5%. Terrific value too. Highly recommended. — 2 years ago

Positively the best Vinho Verde I’ve tasted - not that I’d drink it often.
Very expressive nose of green apple, unripe start fruit, peach, lemon, chalk, and green vegetables. The palate is supple and nicely textured yet very lively, with high tone yet round acidity. Long finish with hint of sea breeze. Unique but unmistakably Vinho Verde.
The vineyard is located in Monção boarding Spain. — 9 days ago
