Langhe Freisa Vivace 2017

This wine is different than anything I've ever had, but that's not to say it's bad. The nose is bold dark berries with a spicy funk that pushes forward prominently with an unexpected effervescence, driven by actual light carbonation! The flavor has mild tannins, and a soda like mouth feel, with spicy earthy flavors, tart dark berries, and high acidity. Paired with leftover spaghetti squash with meat sauce, the flavor is surprisingly long and lingering with good feet. Tiva and I put together her new bed while drinking this. — 2 months ago

I option in delectable for Freisa Della Bussia, now blended with Bordeaux grapes. This had be bottle fermented. Drank without decanting, first glass was nearly clear, free of pigment. Further along it showed well, still vivace. — 2 years ago

Cali sunripened berries soften the tartness of Sangio and bake this wine with ripe cherry warmth. Not over the top, but approachable fir the new world palate.
