Coast Range Estate Dry Riesling 2010

Tom Elliot

A rich, ripe, 10-year-old dry Riesling from a serious Riesling specialist. Drinking great now and may have several more years of aging potential. Apple pie, baking spices, and subtle minerality. Finishes long with class and finesse. — 7 months ago

Estates Reserve Dry Riesling 2015

You guys... such a good Riesling. Not too sweet, Apple and grassy flavors. Medium body — a year ago

Ribbon Ridge Estate 2017

13.1%. Dark fruit on the nose. Seems dark to me in the glass. Hint of sweetness - figs. Dark cherries bright and juicy with good acidity. Burgundian in style. This is impressive! Very well done! I would buy this - from the San Diego Wine Co. . This should be available in other retail stores and from the winery it’s worth to seek out. — 2 years ago

Artist Series No. 12 Pinot Noir 2010

Drank in 2020- aged beautifully. Fruit with old world attributes of earthiness and subtlety. Full bodied with smooth finish. So well balanced between acid, fruit, oak and age. I wish I had more. $55 in 2010 ❤️ — 8 months ago

Wichmann Dundee Estate Pinot Noir 2018

The 2018 ‘Wichmann Dundee’ Pinot Noir is sourced from this smaller, 8 acre site set on volcanic soils in the Dundee Hills AVA. A light dusting of both white pepper and volcanic ash fall on the core of bright red fruits with shades of damp earth on the nose. The palate is bright, lithe and beautifully textured with excellent length. Surprisingly high-toned with its orange rind and cran-pomegranate flavors that meld with minerals and salty damp terroir, the 2018 ‘Wichmann Dundee’ Pinot Noir is bright and delicious to savor in its youth but has a long way to go, as it will evolve to something distinctly earthy and a world away from what we see now.
