Un tempranillo mezcla de rioja. este es mi tercero tempranillo desde rioja. espero sentirme un caballero. first scent was coke (cola) on the cork. hue is extremely dark. No clarity much turbidity in broad daylight. slight note of sweet cherry. much barrel and deep tannic tones of turbulence i find terrific. sour cherry on the tongue. Tablas Creek in CA originally brought this varietal to the US. Acid driven, early pick so 12% ABV. Minimal oak. Typically a blending grape, Larry did a good job having this stand on its own. A great alternative to SB for oysters. — 2 years ago
