Teran Re 2009

Local Istria grape Teran with links to Refosco. High in acidity, quite some VA so not a wine for everybody. Personally I like this style. Roxanich is 100% natural and uses extreme long time on wood. Very good — a month ago

Rosso Venezia Giulia Terrano Blend 2011

My first “teran” after many years. It’s a bit acidic at first but overall very fresh and enjoyable. Had it at dinner with friends and we all liked it. — 5 years ago

Uroboros Malvasia Bianca 2019

Extremely well made Istrian Malvazija! Very good tasting at Bruno Trapan Winery. Also good Revolution (merlot, cab sauv, syrah and teran) and The One(syrah and Teran) — 2 months ago

Teran 2017

Much more enjoyable than the 2016. Deep ruby color. Black pepper, tar and late-season lilac on the nose. Medium-body but layered flavor with granite, vanilla, crushed red pepper and old boot leather...kind of a salty finish. I don’t remember how much I paid for this, but whatever it was, I would have paid more. Fantastic! — 4 years ago

Ottocento crni Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2012

Croatian version of a super Tuscan blend. On the mark, luscious garnet color with a delightful full palette. Makes me miss Croatia! — 4 years ago

Teran Venezia Giulia Terrano 2016

Medium ruby, rose, high acid to the point of being tangy, and medium tannin. Good with pizza, decent finish for being so moderate in alcohol — 3 years ago

Terra Mare Istria Teran 2015

First Croatian wine. Saw this and even at $37 had to try. Well worse the money. Young and needs a decant or a nice grilled steak.
Pnp. Very aromatic right off the bat. Black cherry, Forest floor, mushrooms, and a touch of green pepper. Highly recommend giving this a chance especially if you are a fan of other old world wines.
