Perfect lunch wine. — a month ago
Bright lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and with floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of peaches, pineapple and mango with lime zest and hints of chalky salinity. Well balanced with pleasant lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice value. Pair this with some toro sushi. Consistent. — 2 months ago
With all the technical issues on Delectable these days it’s hard to work up the energy to post. But we love the community here and amazingly it still continues even as Vinous has seemingly left it to literally die on the vine. It’s hard to think of an app we’ve used in an unchanging form since 2015.
The Tras da Viña from Zarate is the most riesling-esque albariño we’ve had. Creamy with a hint of sweetness, buttressed by singing acidity & minerals. Honeysuckle & stone fruit. Made from a single parcel of vines planted in 1970…extended lees aging… it’s a stunning bottle. — 3 months ago
