Delicious Chardonnay. L’shana Tovat. — 12 days ago
I am going to savor this! Let's just say it good...very good! 🥐🍋🧀🥀 But...
I wanted to think on this a bit more and give a honest assessment.
I am considering that maybe I might have enjoyed this a little younger, it seemed to lack some freshness. Overall...having had Chardonnay from Argentina and Australia that in my opinion was equally as good (under $50 a bottle)..the QPR on this Aubert is not something I would do again — 7 days ago
This is a young Pinot Noir from Sonoma County. Spicy and tangy with a beautiful color.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Showing bing cherries, red currants, raspberries, oak, light vanilla, spices, light chocolates and black pepper.
This Single Vineyard is good right out of the bottle and better with some air time. After 30 minutes, soft tannins show up and bring more structure to the game.
I had it before and this time I gave it a light chill and it paired beautifully with the brie cheese with wild mushrooms.
A very small production of only 5 barrels.
14.2% alcohol by volume.

Freaking well made wine. You can drink it standing up. Don’t need to plan a meal around it, yet regal as well. It’s dumb to make comparisons but with such few words I suppose it makes sense: ferren, dumol, bevan? Loads of citrus, ultra pure, well defined, powerful. I guess I like this. Bought at the tasting room (they kind of hurried us along) but I could still get a sense of what these wines are. The chards and the pinots aren’t just fluff, they are really really good wines. Not so much into the sales model but for the price you’ll compete with stuff double the price — a day ago
