I contributed this bottle, which had a seepage problem earlier in its life leaving a ~5.5cm ullage. Decanted and left to aerate and hour before heading to the shindig. Amber tawny color, translucent. A Wow! Nose from the get go. Bing cherry, framboise raspberries, rhubarb, rose petals, sweet red cherries. Exotic nose leads to a luscious experience as the wine is tasted. Sois bois. The wine peacocks over several hours of enjoyment. Great juice. — 4 years ago
This is the beer I had at the Big Red Shindig. Not too hoppy and easy to drink. Light on the pine but more citrusy. — 9 years ago
I brought this and was super impressed with the fill, color and overall condition the wine was in. Gave it a few hours in the decanter before bringing it to the shindig. Medium gold, but lighter than the 90 Montrachet next to it. Great nose with notes of lemon, tangerine, tan spice, some iodine and gravel stone. Great mouth feel with lots of fruit balanced against still strong acidity. This was killer juice and the bottle easily had another 10 years of life in it. Lucky to have an experience with an exceptional old white burg like this. — 3 years ago
Reddish tawny color. Vibrant in the glass. Direct nose with notes of raspberries, rhubarb, asian spice and moist black soil. At first, more structure than fruit. But with 6+ hours of air a sweetness develops and softens the harsher notes, making this more voluptuous. Was singing loudly at the end of the shindig! — 5 years ago
Shindig Fizzi Pink
With a nose of berry, lime, and a slight minerality, fizzi pink is a dry, effervescent sparkling wine with notes of cherry and raspberry. I love it.

What is there not to love? Textbook with some extra shindig through. One of the better warm-up wines we've had in a while. And at 12.5abv tough to beat. — 10 years ago
2013 Shindig by Brooklyn Oenology. Alie Shaper's zingy, fun wine is even better over time. Opened some this Xmas 2015, and the longer it was open the better it tasted. Good decant before serving. Full smooth fruity mouthfeel with a nice clean acidity on the lemony finish. Warm belly post drink. Hard to say "when" with this anytime white. — 8 years ago
@Vino50wines 2013 SHINDIG Vidal Blanc, Finger Lakes #flxwine. Bright & racy with white flower, green apple, pear and lemon peel. Loads of acid. Very #refreshing. The perfect #patio sipper. #wine #sommelier #summer #nywine

Yeah there's some residual sugars. So what. It still tastes nice and has nice structure.
This won a blind tasting of cheaper cab sauvs, and it's the bottle we keep coming back to visit. Would serve at a cookout, shindig, or hootaninny. Might spring for something fancier for Christmas dinner. — 2 years ago
