Rich and rounded red fruits (like mulberries or strawberries with an attitude). Deep garnet color with a faint, fruity aroma. It wasn't very acidic, but it had no lack of tannins. I keep thinking it would be very drinkable with barbecue.

You ever had one of them super tart green apples that make you pucker intensely but have a strange taste that makes you bite into the apple and just suck the juice out through your teeth and when you drain the apple you chew on it a bit but it's still too tart so grab another apple and start sucking away? This is the wine equivalent. Tart. Fruity. Would be nice if mixed with something bubbly or sweet. Goes ok with spicier foods. — 2 years ago
Herbaceous, vanilla aroma. Strong dried strawberry flavor with some tobacco. Tart and refreshing. Pairs well with dark chocolate. — 2 years ago
This zin is a zin's zin, zinful to the last zop. It's a very drinkable wine with a delicate mouthfeel. It's flavor? Like a strawberry and/or plum jelly on top an English muffin. Sweet but not disgustingly so. The wine is darker than the bottle, and the bottle is charcoal black. Held up to a light, you can make out a faint red color with purple tinges. If your kid did a crayon drawing of wine and used this color, it wouldnt even make it to your fridge. I still love it. Pairs well with saltines.
