Sao Del Coster

Eric Solomon

Eric Solomon - for the most part - has a really good nose for Spanish wines: this is no different. Entry level Priorat with beautiful minerality & kirsch aromas mingled with white pepper & licorice. Really mouthfilling and suave on palate, generous w/just enough rigidity in tannins to provide approachable structure balanced nicely w/acidity. Lingering finish bellies $20 price point. — a month ago

S Priorat Carignane Blend

Purchased 2015 for $25 at Grand Cata on 3/5/19. Decanted 3/9/19. Medium bodied. Bright red. Leather smoke tarragon. Touch of orange peel. Peaks of acid and tannin way back on caudal palate. Long Black Cherry finish after ten minutes open. Licorice turns to tarragon after 25 minutes. Aromas and body of light milk chocolate & caramel. — 3 years ago
