Santa Rita

Sea Smoke

Southing Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir

Superb Pinot! Aromas of raspberry and black cherry. Rich and smooth on the bud with stewed fruits, slight tartness, deep cherry, and a great spice note. Long finish! Had it at Blue Hound in PHX.

Santa Margherita

Valdadige Pinot Grigio 2022

Light silvery straw gold color. Clean aromas and flavors of yellow delicious apple and citrus fruits with a light dose of mineral on the medium-plus finish. Crisp acidity and quite fresh tasting. This “Valdadige version” was much better than I expected. Very dry and quite refreshing. — 7 days ago

Sea Smoke

Ten Estate Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

Several layers of cherry and black cherry complimented by cedar and a hint of smoke. Medium to full tannins for a Pinot and not too rich like some Sonoma Pinots can be. Delicious. — 7 days ago

Brewer-Clifton

Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2021

Medium acidity. Light and clean taste. A little ‘bolder’ than a typical Pinot. Very, very good. Would definitely buy again. — 15 days ago

Ridge Vineyards

Monte Bello Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2004

Beautiful: dark, quiet, powerful. Nothing extraneous. Lead with minerals, graphite, tobacco on top of a layer of dry black and red fruit. Tannins were mild. Fit the room (The Grill, NYC) and the meal (Thanksgiving) perfectly. — 8 days ago
