Opened yesterday, drank over 2 days.
The nose is very fruity and intense with dark cherry touches, earthy notes, some raspberry and blackberry scents too. I could even smell some peony notes too. This is really inviting. The palate is wide and long and quite complex. A good acid drive, some dark cherry notes all along, some very soft and easy going mouthfeel that is changing in mid palate with a great tannic wall, which adds a layer of dust over an otherwise quite juicy and fruity finish. In the back-end though, there is a tiny savoury note that pops along with a subtle bitterness. This is really my kind of cab franc. Really good stuff! — 2 years ago

Totally surprised that this held up as well as it has. Pure and expressive Cab Franc. A joy. — 2 years ago
Catching up from a few days ago — Work travel - when they hand me the wine list. My effort at being reasonable. Everyone cheered this selection. The little things….
2019 Les Quarterons is a Cab Franc from the Loire region. They had this selection in the Rhône section, but was very un-Rhône like. Almost Oregon Pinot style. Paired really well with my Duck Cassoulet. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2021 “Dionysos” pours a deep ruby/purple color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, violets, horse blanket, poblano pepper, graphite and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Fresh, funky, delicious Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2031. — 2 months ago
