This Zin continues to impress me. Plum, blueberry, fig, black pepper, espresso, and light tobacco. Juicy and smooth on the palate. Round acidity and tannins. Lingering candied and smoky finish.
Paring with burger is as good as it gets. Fantastic value for a single vineyard bottling from St. Helena. — 7 days ago
We had the 2021 Vintage on 7/1-2/22. This is a real good, medium bodied Sauvignon Blanc. There is a nice minerality and mouth feel. A bright, lively, refreshing wine. Scents and tastes of grapefruit, and Meyer lemon. — a day ago
I feel like it’s so tricky to rate this one because as a wine overall, it’s lovely but I feel like it should definitely be more in the Chardonnay category while I do love a buttery Chardonnay, it’s not what I expect in my Sauvignon Blanc; However this is what you will find in this bottle. While I think this is a lovely wine, I would categorize it for a light bodied Chardonnay lover — 11 days ago

1.5+hr decant. Dark red color with hints of rust and purple. Lovely nose of dark cherries and cedar, which is the highlight. Great texture but restrained and thinning. Starts out like a nice Bordeaux then turns into a classic Napa Cab then becomes very average mid palate. So much promise but doesn’t deliver. Needs more depth and flavor. As the wife said, very nice but probably a ~$50 bottle not an ~$85+. — 14 days ago
