Sauvage Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Tasted at the premises and found it great. Now however, to “natural” and too high VA. Quite out off balance — 3 months ago

First Roses Issa Plavac Mali 2016

Plavac Mali from island Vis and know-how from Istria are apparentely a good combination. At first, brighter color has lowered my expectations, but then the nose and palates were nicely surprised. The recognizable characteristics of the variety are almost advertised with neon light signs in the nose and mouth. Every last percent of alcohol (14%), has been successfully covered. This is a ready-to-drink (and enjoy) wine, which I can offer at the same time to some wine snub and my mom who rarely drinks wine. — 5 years ago

Rovigno 2016

Visit of the Roxanich Winery in Croatia. 100% natural wine with very long maturing time on wood. This is the white Malvasia. A fantastic range of wines, esp. their cuvee Bordo(merlot) and Sauvage (cab sauv). The Superistrian and Teran re are also highly recommended — 9 months ago

Malvazijica 2012

Smooth, round texture with body but good lift as well. Waxy, stewed apple, flowers, and wild honey. 6 days skin maceration and 2 years in tank before bottling with minimal sulfur. Orange wine, yes please. — 8 years ago

Teran Re 2009

Local Istria grape Teran with links to Refosco. High in acidity, quite some VA so not a wine for everybody. Personally I like this style. Roxanich is 100% natural and uses extreme long time on wood. Very good — 8 months ago

Teran 2008

Kirsch, strong espresso and dark chocolate. Port like yet dry. Complex, funky & intriguing with rich & spicy acidity and enough substance to be complete. A fantastic discovery... — 6 years ago
