Amazing chef tasting and wine pairing at Addison at Grand del Mar. — 2 months ago
Super young. Once the primary & quite expressive fruit blows off, this is actually quite nice. Still on the fruitier side, but there’s a savoury, earthy whiff to it. Airy cherries, baking spice, good depth.
On the palate this is still youthful LY chunky but there’s good balance, good depth. This is surprisingly high in alc (14.5%!!) and it’s noticeable.
Very curious how this will evolve.

Paired with fresh grilled Gulf grouper and eggplant/corn and it was perfect choice. — 3 months ago
