Argile Rouge Gamay Persan 2019

Ordered this as Atoboy, Korean fusion restaurant. Served slightly chill. Fruity, light to medium body. Great with a range of food we had from seafood to beef. It was fruity at first but then it turns bolder with the meal. — 4 months ago

Cuvée Octavie Vin de Savoie Persan

This was quite different but I liked it. More if a plum, cherries and almost a grape flavor and tannic. Really unique — 7 months ago

Freres Giac Vin des Coteaux du Gresivaudan Gamay Persan

Funnnnnn. Smells straight up like a rose garden. So many red fruits, such tender tannins, a real delight. Gamay and persan on clay and limestone — 4 months ago

Persan 2018

Lyle Fass

@Delectable Wine this the the Persan. Thanks! Nose is very grapey and almost smells like a Beaujolais. St. Amour or a Chenas. Some floral mountain funk. Lots of wet earth. Big time gout de terroir here. Gorgeous palate. Superb texture, structure, finesse and tannic spine. Mineral with good black currant and black berry fruit but just ripe. Really kicks some blackberry tang on the finish. Really terrific stuff. Complex, chewy and toothsome mountain red. Love it.

Les 2 Jean Vin de Savoie Persan 2018

Huge fan of almost everything grown in Savoie. First time tasting Persan. Bigger and bolder then Mondeuse which is a favorite varietal. Red and black fruit with some hefty black pepper. Pretty tannic but so delicious. — 4 months ago

La Deuse Vin de Savoie Mondeuse Noir 2017

85% Mondeuse, 15% Persan. 11% ABV. 24mg/l sulfur. Matchstick / toasted nut, slight spritz and funk at opening. Lovely at 2hrs decant. Tons of violet, rose and very floral / potpourri, white pepper, purple fruited (pomegranate, cassis and plum), currant, red apple skin, black cherry skins, raspberry. Love the way this evolves with air, fresh plum skin tannins and florals. Intriguing and sexy and utterly drinkable — 5 months ago
