Quite strong for Kabinett, but hey, it's no Mosel...😀 — 7 years ago
Frankly quite amazing. 12.5%. Tasted first at the winery in Durbach - Baden and then 2 days later a second bottle at a friends home. One of the best Rieslings money can buy. Mandarine, peach, hint bitter, orange blossoms - so long. Great minerality provided by the decomposed granite this area is known for. Traditionally made. This area is unique as Riesling is a unicorn in Baden which is dominated by Pinot. Obviously opened way to early but hard to resist. More big and round like the Pfalz Rieslings and not steely and sharp like the Mosel or Nahe. — 2 years ago
Mindboggling Scheurebe!! Nose of herbal elements like sage and lavender over grapefruit and passion fruit. Wow. So wafting. Palate is complex and chewy with stunning balance and purity. It’s so well woven and integrated. Wow. Long and complex finish keeps pushing. — 6 years ago
Like a soapy tropical little German Pils from Scheurebe. Grapefruit scented mosaic hops and dank marijuana crystals. Hints of mango and papaya floating in the periphery. A body with some girth and buttercream to yang the ying of acid you couldn't complain about not even for a second. — 2 years ago
Electric! Wow what acid. Insane purity. Floral like nothing else. Kumquat, white flowers, tree bark, crushed rocks, mulch, lime zest, candied lemons, so complex, it’s crazy. Huge acid, huge depth, huge minerals, huge extract, so elegant, confectionary, pure, clean. So so so so good. Perfect, fruit, mineral, everything. — 4 years ago
What a value. Huge nose or fresh sprigs of herbs, huge minerals and fresh spring water. Amazingly clean. Even floral as well. Dense and chewy with wonderful purity and balance. Compact and so clean. Really this is totally over-delivering. Stunningly clean. Long. Did I say this was clean? — 5 years ago
Oh my. Stunning stuff! Tastes like citrus and stones. Wish I had more. — 8 years ago

Not quite over the hill, but I’m afraid that this bottle is reaching the tail end of its drinking window. The color has become light amber, and there are definitely some nutty notes. That said, still a lovely fresh glass of Riesling. — a month ago
